Charlotte Dellal: artist's soul

The designer Charlotte Dellal, at the course of her still brief career, had the power to transcend the status of her creations from seasonal wishes to collector's items. It's not by mere chance: her work is bold and different and she has no fear of thinking outside the box.

During the last Art Basel Fair, in Miami, her brand debuted a new line of shoes, created exclusively for Neiman Marcus. Each pair, painted by hand and produced in a very limited number of copies, represented the work of a genius of the arts like Van Gogh, Pollock, Mondrian and Picasso. Whoever got the chance to own one will be able to sell the pair for a great profit in some auction in a few years. The hard part is to be able to part with such a jewel.
