One festival: two opinions

Brazil has finally entered the big rock festivals circuit. Last month, Lollapalooza (the alternative event created by ex-Jane's Addiction Perry Farrel in the 90's) came to the country for the second time. The social networks were flooded with pictures from the attraction and the reviews were mixed. Here, I show you the opinion of two different people that were there.

Pedro Vasconcellos - Painter

Pedro Vasconcellos is a painter and has a habit of travelling to go to rock concerts. This was his fourth Lollapalooza (he attended the Chigago and Chilean editions in 2011 and last year's in Brazil).

CONCERTS:

Highlights for Queen of the Stone Age, The Temper Trap and Alabama Shake.
The sound coming from the stage was too low and conflicted with the noise coming from the electronic tent.
The Killers were, in his opinion, vexing. The Hives, sucked.

ORGANISATION:

Endless lines that resembled Disneyland. Since it was necessary to buy the food tickets beforehand, he ended up with several ones in his pocket.
The number of restrooms were better compared to the last edition.

FASHION:

It was fun to watch the kids dressed as "alternative" to go the shows.

Raphaella Athayde - Economist

Raphaella Athayde is an economist and went to São Paulo exclusively for the event.

CONCERTS:

She highlighted Pearl Jam's performance, with some covers from Ramones and The Who.

ORGANISATION:

Good organisation overall, small lines to buy food.
Easy access to the restrooms, despite de fowl smell.
Impossible to ride the ferris wheel.

FASHION:

More Beverly Hills than rock concert.
